Although Clarissa and Nostradamus have a very rocky relationship, Nostradamus still cares for her very much. Finding her as a child in his doorstep Nostradamus is like a brother to Clarissa. Nostradamus's father started working on Clarissa's face to see if he could remove Clarissa's mark . This ends with Clarissa having a perpetual deformity on her face.
