Lord Grenier is a minor character in the third season of Reign. He is portrayed by Ted Whittal.
Lord Genier was a member of the Privy Council whom Mary suspected was angling himself for the position of Regent by showering Charles IX with gifts. So she set out to investigate and found out that he was a war profiteer.

Fight or Flight[]
Sebastian and Charles ride into the castle. Bash offers his counsel as a brother to young Charles, who will soon be king. Lord Grenier, a member of the privy council, offers to take Charles hunting, but Bash advises against it. Charles goes anyway, lured in by the promise of a Greyhound dog.
Later, Catherine and Mary burst into the privy council's meeting to find out why they're meeting without an elected Regent. Catherine wants to give up the fight against them, but Mary vows to fight the nobles for her in order to fulfill her promise to Francis.
Using one of Greer's girls to pry information from Lady Grenier, Catherine and Mary find out that Lord Grenier has been amassing his fortune by profiting off of the soliders who have died in Scotland's war against England. They confront him about it and threaten to reveal that information if he does not bow out of the campaign as regent. Reluctantly, Lord Grenier leaves the office.
