Lord Barnard is a minor character in the second season of Reign. She is portrayed by Kent Sheridan.
He murdered Lady Doisneau for the coal underneath his lands. He blamed Doisneau's death on Plague, but Lady Doisneau found out the truth and got the King's Deputy, Sebastian, to investigate the murder.

Lady Barnard, possibly acting on her husband's orders, befriended Sebastian's wife, Kenna de Poitiers, and promised her gifts. Kenna didn't realise this was a bribe until her husband revealed that he investigated Doisneau's murder. Kenna confronted Lady Barnard who then threatened both Kenna and Sebastian if they caused harm to her husband.

- His first name is never given in the show, though historically the first Lord Barnard was called Christopher, and his wife Elizabeth.
- Lord Barnard seems to be a lot older than Lady Barnard, though this is common at French Court.
- Despite Lord Barnard's ruthless and violent nature, his wife seems to be genuinely in love with him, signifying a very happy marriage. This may be in part due to Lady Barnard's own manipulative and dangerous nature.
- He is friends with Lord Aris.
