Biography[]
Early Life[]
Margaret was born to Lord Archibald Douglas and Margaret Tudor, elder sister of King Henry VIII. Her elder half-brother is James V of Scotland, father to Mary Stuart, making her Queen Mary's aunt. Her first cousin is Elizabeth I, Queen of England.
Lady Lennox married Matthew Lennox at one point, who betrayed Scotland and joined the English. He died sometime after his betrayal, leaving Margaret with two sons.

Season Four[]
In season four, both Elizabeth I, Queen of England and Mary Stuart, Queen of Scotland search to marry their mutual cousin, Lord Darnley. Lady Lennox is eager to marry off her son but he is infatuated with Lady Keira. She makes a deal with Lord White to marry Keira and fakes a letter from Darnley, breaking things off with Keira.
She then talks to Queen Mary who has been promised sanctuary by Queen Elizabeth. Lady Lennox tells Mary that the castle promised to her, Sandown Castle, is actually a prison. This breaks off the peace negotiations between England and Scotland and makes Mary eager to marry again.
Personality[]
Lady Lennox is cunning and constantly schemes for power. Although she claims to be on her son's side, she continually makes decisions that go against his happiness and wellbeing. She is also a master at manipulating people, knowing exactly what to say to bend people to her will.
Physical Appearance[]
Lady Lennox is an elderly woman, which may speak for the lack of colour in her hair, but we could also assume that she had blonde hair when she was younger. She has brown eyes and eyebrows, and is always seen sporting a red lip.
