Geant was a minor character in the third season of Reign. He was portrayed by James Preston.
He is a gladiator from Dijon. He was interviewed by Sebastian because he thought Geant would be fighting for the Red Knights, who threatened the Valois dynasty.
Biography[]
Early Life[]
When the 13 Red Knights fought for Catherine de' Medici and Henry II they were rewarded by the Queen with her finest courtisans. Courtisane Maurissa fell in love with the Red Knight that had been assigned to her. She became pregnant with him, despite being a member of the Flying Squad who forbade its members getting pregnant.
When the knights were named heretics by the King and Queen, and were executed, Maurissa felt ashamed and fled court. She gave birth in Dijon but left the baby in the woods with nothing but its father's helmet. She never regretted leaving the child to perish. She only regretted giving birth to "devil's spawn".

Geant grew up to be a gladiator. He often fought in front of hundreds and enjoyed the glory. He wore his father's helmet but felt no connection to either of his parents. When The Red Knights resurfaced they tried to recruit him. He refused to fight for a father he had never known, even when one of the members offered their ruby ring.
Three days later, Sebastian interrogated him. Geant told him he had nothing to do with his father or his past accomplices.

- He has never met either of his parents.
- Despite him and Maurissa living close (Bash visits them both in less than a day) they never meet on or off-screen.
