Emile de Bourbon is a minor character in the second season of Reign. He is portrayed by Thomas Duplessie.
Emile was the nephew of Antoine, Marcus, and Louis de Bourbon. He was the son of their sister, making him a member of the House of Bourbon.

Blood for Blood[]
Emile was in a barn that was being used for worship by a group of Protestants. Not long into the service the door to the barn opened and a group of Catholic extremists came in, demanding to know what was happening. They began to take him away, aggressively out the front barn doors. Before he left, one of the newer members tried to stop them, but was assaulted.
Not long after, Emile was beaten to death by the men after they set the barn on fire.

Despite being a noble, Emile dressed in simple clothing.

- Emile's mother is most likely Margaret de Bourbon, who was the only one of Louis of Condé's sisters to marry. She married François of Cleves and together they had:
- Francis (1540)
- Henriette (1542)
- James (1544), who died at 20 and is the most likely inspiration for Emile.
- Catherine (1548)
- Marie of Cleves (1553)
