Annabelle Breton was a minor character in the second season of Reign. She was portrayed by Meghan Heffern.
Annabelle was chosen by Elizabeth I to serve as her proxy for her marriage to Louis of Condé. Annabelle later died in a fire that was set to end their marriage. She was burned alive with all documents regarding the marriage between Condé and Elizabeth, making it null and void.

Annabelle is tasked with being a proxy wife to Louis of Condé. After the ceremony, she shares a bed with Condé, though there is a sword between them so as to prevent them from consummating. Annabelle recounts her challenging upbringing to him and he vows to be a religiously tolerant king.
The next day, Annabelle perishes in a fire.

She was a trusted companion of Elizabeth who would lay down her life for her country and queen if need be. She was quite nice to Condé and tried to make small talk with him.
