Agatha Blackburn was a minor character in the third and fourth season of Reign. She was portrayed by Macy Drouin.

She was the daughter of Gideon Blackburn.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Agatha's mother had died while giving birth to her, so her father took care of her, but didn't see each other often.

In the Series[]

Season Three[]

Agatha makes her first appearance in Succession.

In No Way Out, she's reunited with her father.

In Strange Bedfellows, Gideon Blackburn tells Mary Stuart at this point, he thought he would be raising his daughter with his wife by his side. Instead, he's only just met his child, and his wife is dead.

Gideon and Agatha Blackburn soon return to England.

Season Four[]

In Love & Death, Her father tells Elizabeth that Agatha is terminally ill when he's confronted on his absence from court.

In Hanging Swords, Elizabeth gives Agatha one perfect last day by making her the 'Queen'. Agatha gladly accepts the offer and gets the chance to do things she's not normally allowed to do. When Elizabeth arrives the next morning to see her she learns that Agatha passed in the middle of the night so she goes into the chapel to grieve alongside Gideon.

Personality[]

Agatha was a precoscious child, despite having grown up in a sheltered environment. She was also shown to be quite thoughtful, seeing as she gifted her doll to a young servant girl her age, knowing she wouldn't need it once she passed away. She showcased remarkable bravery and understanding when faced with her death.

Agatha was a pretty child that everyone who came to know her simply adored.

Relationships[]

Gideon Blackburn[]

Gideon was Agatha's father. Although he loved her deeply, Agatha felt disconnected to him as they had spent several years apart. They eventually mended their relationship and grew close.

Mary Stuart[]

Mary was Agatha's friend. She helped Agatha get close to her father.

Elizabeth I[]

Elizabeth was also Agatha's friend. She let Agatha play "Queen For a Day" in Love & Death.
